What are we doing and how does it affect you?

The price you are quoted for parts for service or items on special order is subject to change between the time you place your order and the time you pick it up. When we are notified of price increases we will pass them along.

Why?

Almost everything we sell, whether from a USA brand or a non-USA brand, is made outside of the USA. If it is made in the USA it most likely includes components or materials made outside of the USA.

Over the course of a year, we work with around 100 different brands. These brands do not have a stable way to calculate their own costs. Because of the tariffs of at least 10% (and much more on China), we are now constantly experiencing price changes with no way to predict what they will be.

When we sell something, it has to be on the basis of what it will cost us to replace that item. If the cost for us increases between the time of order and the time of arrival, we will raise the price; if the cost for us doesn’t increase, then we will not raise the price.
